Chris Columbus to Hit the Seas for Marvel
Variety reports that yet another Marvel hero has found his filmmakers. Director Chris Columbus ("Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone," "Home Alone"
and producer/screenwriter David Self ("The Road to Perdition," "Thirteen Days"
will combine to bring Sub-Mariner to the big screen for Universal Pictures. Not to be mistaken for Aqua-Man, Sub-Mariner is otherwise known as Prince Namor, half-man half-amphibian guardian of Atlantis.
