Variety reports that yet another Marvel hero has found his filmmakers. Director Chris Columbus ("Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone," "Home Alone" and producer/screenwriter David Self ("The Road to Perdition," "Thirteen Days" will combine to bring Sub-Mariner to the big screen for Universal Pictures. Not to be mistaken for Aqua-Man, Sub-Mariner is otherwise known as Prince Namor, half-man half-amphibian guardian of Atlantis.
