Mark Rydell will direct "Jumpshot," starring Kim Basinger and Danny DeVito, the story of people crossing paths during a college basketball championship run, Variety reports. Nick Cannon, Forest Whitaker, Jay Mohr, and Carla Gugino also star; Kelsey Grammer and Ray Liotta are in negotiations for parts as well. The film will be produced by David Greenhouse and Bob Yari, and Robert Tannen wrote the screenplay.

Hello,Gorgeous!
With the exception of Heist, I'll watch Danny DeVito in anything! After his display of utter adorability (getting Andy Kaufman's story told--MAN ON THE MOON) Danny and 'Louie' have earned my loyalty and respect. Hey, what goes around, comes around.
Re;Danny. Could people please refrain from inflicting the paul williams syndrome on anything related to Mr. DeVito. It's not a p.c. thing, it's a self-respect thing. Danny's got class. People want to work with him. Danny, on the other hand, actually preferred dealing with TONY CLIFTON again rather than have any dealings with someone who's got nothing to do but whine about his height all day. Who can blame him???
