on Feb 15 2005 04:51 AM That's stupid. That's just stupid. How can the Bafta people give AVIATOR the best film, while not honoring Mr. Scorcese, as best director? Isin't this a Major and a basic contradiction? Since, it was Scorcese who brought the techinacal, emotional and performancewhile aspects of the film to the screen... They were just trying to be 'nice' to everyone, no logic required. Besides, I thougt the stage on which the awards were given, was majorly UGLY. Every single Actor and Actress, were dread-terrified, that they'd goona stumble over and SLIP all the way to the stage, when walking on that half-round, winding, runway from backstage! You could see the terror in thier eyes, for crying out loud! Although, as I think about that now, it would've been quite HILARIOUS, if something like that would've happened! That would've been some ENTRANCE for someone... and that sure would've LIVENED that show a bit... (Reply to this) |
