Roll Over, "Beethoven": Harris to Play Composer
by RT Staff | February 15, 2005
Discuss Article
Ed Harris is good at playing great, eccentric artists: He took on the great painter in "Pollock," and now, Ludwig van Beethoven in "Copying Beethoven," Variety reports. The film, to be directed by Agnieszka Holland, will also star Diane Kruger. The story involves Beethoven's obsession with his assistant in the midst of composing his Ninth Symphony.

Hmmm. Sounds interesting. I heard Beethoven was a real character, so it could be good.
