Halle Berry, Marc Forster to Re-team
by RT Staff | February 15, 2005

Halle Berry and director Marc Forster, who collaborated on "Monster's Ball," are planning to re-team for a movie about the Egyptian queen Nefertiti, according to Production Weekly. The script is currently being worked on for an early 2006 shoot. Before Forster can work on this movie, he will first direct Will Ferrell in "Stranger Than Fiction," a comedy about an IRS auditor seeking out a narrator only he can hear. Halle Berry can be heard in the upcoming animation feature, "Robots."

Will the script be based on this book?
According to Publishers Weekly, Michelle Moran just sold a novel about NEFERTITI to a major publishing house for a six figure deal. According to people I've spoken to in the industry, the book is being shopped around and several studios have been interested. I haven't seen the book and I don't think it comes out until July 2007 (at least that's what Moran's website says). But if the book is turned into a movie, at least the script should be descent. I wonder who they'll get to take the lead role? Would it still be Halle Berry?
