kenporules writes: on Feb 16 2005 03:55 PM I dunno about this one, but the fanboy in me just wants it to rock SO BAD. The trailer was alright - funny ending. It looks like it'll go a little to Hollywooded out, but then again, what am I expecting in a movie that's set to kick off the summer? (Reply to this) |

Twirlnhurl writes: on Feb 16 2005 04:16 PM I'm surprised that there was nothing of Marvin in it. It also seemed to rely on slapstick more then I hope the final movie will. (Reply to this) |

MovieExpert007 writes: on Feb 16 2005 07:06 PM can't wait I am currently reading this book and from what I've read, it looks like a good transfer from book to film. I'll have to see more and finish the book before I can make a decision, but I'm surprised. Mos Def may surprise you all because he didn't sound like himself and Sam Rockwell may finally be funny for a change. (Reply to this) |

Jaka Tavers writes: on Feb 18 2005 04:51 PM The guy from The Office plays the main character. The casting all round looks good. Anybody know if this is just the first book it's based on or more of the novels in the series? (Reply to this) |

Ophiuchus writes: on Feb 18 2005 09:35 PM It's almost certainly the first book, Jaka. But I heard they're planning to do sequels on the proviso that the first film is well-recieved. Which I hope it will deserve to be. (Reply to this) |
