Zach Braff on the Short-List to Play the New Fletch?
Writer-director Kevin Smith dropped an interesting little tidbit onto his View Askew message board regarding his upcoming "Fletch Won": "Scrubs" and "Garden State" star Zach Braff is presently atop the list to play investigative reporter Irwin M. Fletcher. Obviously this is just pre-pre-production chit-chat, but the Braff fans should keep their fingers crossed; he'd be perfect in the role!

I really stick to the opinion that Ryan Reynolds (of "Van Wilder" fame) should be Fletch. That might just be me though. (Reply to this) |

As with halose7en love Braff but theres a certain resemblance in movement and comic timing of Chase in Reynolds that would be perfect for the character of Fletch.Whereas we know Braff could do it i think Reynolds would pull it off perfectly.
