Batman Begins to Hit the Big Screen...in a BIG Way!
ComingSoon.net delivers a nifty press release from the fine folks at IMAX Entertainment & Warner Bros.: "IMAX Corporation and Warner Bros. Pictures today announced that 'Batman Begins' will be simultaneously released to IMAX and conventional 35mm theatres on June 17th, 2005. The film, which explores the origins of the Batman legend and the Dark Knight's emergence as a force for good in Gotham, will be digitally re-mastered into the unparalleled image and sound quality of The IMAX Experience with proprietary IMAX DMR (Digital Re-mastering) technology for the IMAX release.
Warner Bros. Pictures will be the exclusive distributor of "Batman Begins" to IMAX theatres worldwide." Hey, you've been waiting a few years to see The Dark Knight's return to the big screen...but I bet you didn't expect it to be THAT big!

on Mar 03 2005 08:47 AM [b]Imax[/b] Episode III will propably also be release in IMAX format like Episode II did, but that doesn't really matter, see, because I live in Denmark and we only have ONE DAMN IMAX theater in the whole country which doesn't even show new theatrical movies like these. on Mar 04 2005 02:07 AM At this point of my movie watching life of 26 years, ive never watched a movie at an imax theatre.Not that i dont want to, its just i have no idea were the nearest imax theatre may be,but one day my friends i will find this hidden treasure and partake in hopefully a decent movie that will be my first imax experience.
