Director Walt Becker ("National Lampoon's Van Wilder" has been signed by Touchstone Pictures to direct their upcoming military comedy "In the Navy," according to the Hollywood Reporter. The screenplay, which was written by Jason Filardi ("Bringing Down the House," "Drum", tells the tale of a hapless naval clerk who accidentally switches places with a Navy SEAL and ends up on what should be one wacky adventure. No word on whether or not the Village People will make an appearance.
