Yahoo! Movies and Showbiz Networks bring us a seven-minute behind-the-scenes set visit upon Michael Bay's "The Island." Stars Ewan McGregor and Sean Bean share some tidbits about the upcoming movie (which sounds like a pretty cool "cloning gone wrong" action thriller), while Michael Bay promises a thought-provoking sci-fi tale...with lots of crazy action scenes. "The Island" opens wide on 7-22.

Yeah, Michael Bay also promised us Pearl Harbor would be his Titanic and look how that turned out. Personally, I like him as a director. He's great at making action movies. And technically, he's one of the best out there. I look forward to all of his films. I think he should just be himself and forget what the media thinks of him. You can tell he loves playing with expensive toys, and there's nothing wrong with that. Hopefully by "thought-provoking," he doesn't give us another love triangle subplot, and just give us an exciting, straight action movie.

I'm not a big fan of him at all, but this movie sounds really cool. Bay exec produced the remake of Texas Chainsaw which I loved, and he's producing the new Amityville Horror, so lets keep our fingers crossed.
