Variety brings some interesting casting news: rocker-turned-actress Courtney Love ("Man on the Moon," "The People vs. Larry Flynt"
has signed to play the title character in "Lovelace." The biopic based on the life of "Deep Throat" actress Linda Lovelace is being produced by Jason Blum ("Kicking and Screaming"
from a screenplay by first-timer Merritt Johnson. The film "will trace Lovelace's life from 17 until she died in 2002 at 53."

I have heard a lot about this movie for about 2 years so i'm assuming there's a money/backing issue. If i had it all - i would hand it right over because i can feel this movie - mostly because of Courtney's addition - WILL ROCK!! Maybe we can get her that Oscar this time!! Anyway, i will continue to wait patiently for some very intelligent person/organization to put their stamp of approval on it and wait patiently for the "Upcoming Blockbuser". (Reply to this) |
