Bob Clark Wants to Revisit His Old "Dead Things"

You know the horror-remake machine is getting a little crazy when a title like "Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things" is being suited up for a revisit, but that's precisely what writer/director Bob Clark plans to do. Clark's "Black Christmas" is already being remade by James Wong and Glen Morgan, so remaking his 1973 "Children" only seems the next logical step for the filmmaker.Best known for directing "Porky's" and "A Christmas Story," Bob Clark has spent the past few years making the "Baby Geniuses" movies ... so maybe a horror remake is actually not that bad of an idea.

OK, Now It's Just Getting Pathetic..
My wife and I own a copy of this movie. As far as horror movies go, it's...eh..ok. The amusement factor comes from the lousy acting jobs and the hideous 70's style wardrobes. But I wouldn't put this one in the Horror Movie Pantheon.

There is NO...I repeat, NO reason why this movie must be remade. None. Nil. Nada.

Down with remakes!!!!!!!

Dear God...
I thought the film industry had sunk as low as it could... There are thousands of us struggling screenwriters out there with millions of new ideas, and people wantto remake movies that were crap in the first place? I'm ready to tear up my WGA card...

You can't get creepier than babies acting like adults. Unless you're Jacko. Who just happens to look like one of those dead things.....
