"Hitchhiker's" Duo to Give Birth to "Son of Rambo"

Joe Utichi of FilmFocus had a chat with "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" filmmakers Garth Jennings and Nick Goldsmith, and the duo let loose with some interesting info on their next project: "It's a coming of age tale set in the 1980s when video cameras first started coming on the market and people like me grabbed it from our dads and started making sequels to films like Rambo," Garth explained. "It's about two very strange children making a sequel to Rambo."

The title of the film being discussed? "Son of Rambo." Check out FilmFocus for more chit-chat from the Brit filmmakers.

It sounds *very* interesting. When I first read the title I thought 'oh great, another half-assed sequel without the original cast', but now I've read the concept I'm very interested indeed. I shall watch out for this. If Hammer and Tongs carry on in this way, they could end up as two of the biggest cheeses in Hollywood. Then again, maybe not.

I totally agree with Ophiuchus. The concept is very innovative indeed.
