Trailer Bulletin: Stealth
by Scott Weinberg | May 19, 2005
Discuss Article
Yahoo! Movies brings us the all-new trailer for the upcoming action thriller "Stealth." From director Rob Cohen ("The Fast and the Furious," "xXx") comes the tale of a computerized mega-jet that gets zapped by lightning and starts blowing up stuff it's not supposed to. Our heroes come in the form of three elite naval pilots, as played by Josh Lucas ("The Hulk"), Jamie Foxx ("Collateral"), and Jessica Biel ("The Texas Chainsaw Massacre").

Perhaps worthy of note is that the "Stealth" screenplay was written by W.D. Richter, who (once upon a time) directed "The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai" and wrote "Big Trouble in Little China"). (Well, I found it interesting...) "Stealth" soars into your nearest multiplex on July 29th.

Actually, I thought it looked like it might be a fun popcorn flick. I doubt it'll have much of a plot, but it looks visually stunning kind of like Fast & the Furious with jet fighters.

If you consider
watching a movie that all but negates Jammie Foxx's acting ability and combines him with the co-star of perhaps one of the worst movies of all-time (Blade: Trinity). And then mixes that together with a plot idea that a 7th grader could write for his introduction to writing class, then you will have a blast.

No offense, you seem to have the right idea on most movies, but sometimes optimism isn't all that it's cracked up to be.

That's truly astonishing that you were able to derive all of that from a trailer.
