The Hollywood Reporter brings us a small bit of casting news regarding the upcoming "Mission Impossible" sequel. Director J.J. Abrams ("Alias"Wink has signed Jonathan Rhys-Myers ("Velvet Goldmine"Wink and Michelle Monaghan ("The Bourne Supremacy"Wink to appear alongside series veterans Tom Cruise ("Magnolia"Wink and Ving Rhames ("Pulp Fiction"Wink. No confirmation yet on whether or not Lindsay Lohan ("Mean Girls"Wink snagged the role she was cooing about, but if course we'll be happy to keep you updated on all things "Mission Impossible 3."

It bugs me that even tho the 1st was average at best, and the second sucked like a toothless weasel, we still have to be subjected to a 3rd! This law saying all flicks have to have a sequel needs to be changed...

I do have to admit, however, that MI2 was one of the (unintentionally) funniest movies of that year.
