Luke Wilson to Headline High Concept "Super Ex"
by Scott Weinberg | June 16, 2005
Discuss Article
The Hollywood Reporter informs us that likable lug Luke Wilson ("The Wendell Baker Story") is in final negotiations to star in Ivan Reitman's "Super Ex." Former "Simpsons" scribe Don Payne pitched the concept, and "the story centers on a man who finds out that the woman he is dating is a superhero; she decides to use her powers against him after he breaks up with her for being too controlling and neurotic."

The film will mark Reitman's first directorial gig since 2001's "Evolution" -- his previous films include "Ghostbusters," "Stripes," and "Meatballs."

Could be funny or just stupid, guess I'll have to wait and see.

I can already see it as a sucky romantic comedy.

yet another Vince Vaughan cameo film
is it me or is Vince Vaughan becoming America's answer to Jude Law?

Cuz you know he'll pop up somewhere in this film and 10 billion other films along the way!

So true. I guess they got sick of using Rob Schneider.
