Trailer Bulletin: MirrorMask
by Scott Weinberg | June 22, 2005
Discuss Article
It may not be as high-profile as many of 2005's A-list fantasy flicks, but "MirrorMask" is something that fans of fanciful cinema will absolutely want to keep an eye out for, and Yahoo! Movies offers a first peek at the rather dazzling trailer.

Created by the multi-talented artist-author-filmmakers Neil Gaiman and Dave McKean, "MirrorMask" tells the story of a slumbering young woman who enters a world of fantastic delights, confusing clues, and dangerous characters. Stephanie Leonidas ("Yes") has the lead, and she'll be supported by actors such as Gina McKee ("The Reckoning"), Rob Brydon ("24 Hour Party People"), and Jason Barry ("Titanic").

Featuring some staggeringly slick work from the folks at Jim Henson Productions, "MirrorMask" hits theaters in limited release on September 30th.

Strange
Neil Gaiman's imagination seems to have no bounds. Could you imagine if Gaiman and Tim Burton ever hooked up for a feature film?

Looks killer. And it comes out the same day as Serenity. My day is planned.
