Serenity to Debut at Edinburgh Film Festival

"Serenity," the science-fiction/western /comedy/drama based on Joss Whedon's TV show "Firefly" -- which was cancelled mid-season but gained new life through fan interest and massive DVD sales -- will receive its official Gala Premiere Screening at the 59th Edinburgh International Film Festival on Monday, August 22nd, with a 'Reel Life' interview with Mr. Whedon the next day.

"Serenity" will make its U.S. debut September 30th and will open in the UK and Ireland on October 7th.
