Pacino to Hang Around for Precisely "88 Minutes"
Legendary actor Al Pacino ("Dog Day Afternoon") will team up with director Jon Avnet ("Fried Green Tomatoes") to deliver "88 Minutes," which Variety describes as a thriller that "focuses on a college professor who moonlights as a forensic psychiatrist for the FBI. The prof must use his sleuthing skills to save his hide after he's told that he'll be killed in 88 minutes."
Screenwriter Gary Scott Thompson ("The Fast and the Furious") penned the script, and production is scheduled to get underway in Vancouver on October 15th.
