Prosper761 writes: on Jul 23 2005 05:28 PM Do we really need another biography of Houdini? Two weren't enough? Does anyone even care about Houdini anymore? And while I have great respect for Mr. Pearce's talent as an actor, I'm not sure a tall, handsome Australian can actually pull off playing a short, homely Polish Jew. Unless maybe they do something stupid like give him superpowers and have him save immigrants from from being trampled by horse-drawn carriages. Wait, I'd better retract that -- some moron producer will go out and make it with Michael Bay as the director. (Reply to this) |
