A Whole Bunch of Actors Enlisted for IMAX's Walk on the "Moon"
by Scott Weinberg | August 31, 2005

The Hollywood Reporter brings news of the next big, swanky IMAX project; it's called "Magnificent Desolation: Walking on the Moon 3D" -- and it's got one heck of an A-list cast of actors to contribute the narration!

The film, which "uses NASA footage, live-action and computer-generated imagery to tell the story of the only 12 astronauts to walk on the moon, will bow in Imax theaters Sept. 23."

And that cast of voice-over folks? How about Tom Hanks, Gary Sinise, Matt Damon, Matthew McConaughey, John Travolta, Paul Newman, Rita Wilson, Morgan Freeman, Bill Paxton, Donnie Wahlberg, John Corbett, Barry Pepper, Bryan Cranston, Scott Glenn, Rick Gomez, Frank John Hughes and Tim Matheson.

this should be pretty cool... I'm just not looking forward to paying the $13 ticket to see it.

Morgan Freeman could make a living on only narration and he would still make millions.
