Trailer Bulletin: Where the Truth Lies
by Scott Weinberg | September 07, 2005
Discuss Article
From Atom Egoyan, director of "Exotica," "The Sweet Hereafter," and "Ararat," comes Kevin Bacon, Colin Firth, and Alison Lohman in the already controversial thriller "Where the Truth Lies." Check out the trailer right here.

Based on the novel by Rupert Holmes, "Truth" shifts "effortlessly between mob-run clubs of the mid-50's and glamorous Hollywood Hills mansions of 1972, the film explores the dark, beguiling, and inevitably destructive side of fame and fortune. The result is a tense and atmospheric mystery that uses cinematic sleight-of-hand to challenge any preconceptions about "truth.""

"Where the Truth Lies" makes its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival prior to its October 21st release date.
