Spurlock Signs on to "Class Act"
Morgan Spurlock, who famously endured a month of eating nothing but burgers and fries and capturing his experience in the documentary "Super Size Me," is reuniting with his "Super Size" producers Heather Winters and Joe Morley to produce a documentary on arts education in America, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Titled "Class Act," the doc is directed by Sara Sackner and champions the need to keep arts education alive. Spurlock’s "Super Size Me" is currently out on DVD.

![]() on Sep 10 2005 02:17 PM This is going to be just as retarded as super size me and that stupid show he had on FX. What are they going to do, go ask people if they feel stupider because they didn't have art in school? I'm already planning ways to avoid this movie. (Reply to this) |

on Sep 11 2005 07:57 AM Wow. I'm really glad that Morgan is doing this project next. Arts education is VERY important, yet it is constantly being cut by schools because of financial reasons and the "no child left behind" standardized tests. This issue hasn't been shoved out in the public eye as much as say, the unhealthiness of McDonalds food, but I think it should be. Also, I doubt that he is going to do a "30 days" thing again for this project which makes me happy. Although I love the show and the movie, it was shaping him up to be a one trick pony. He is obviously more talented than that! (Reply to this) |

on Sep 13 2005 12:21 PM Super Size Me ruled! Relax, we're not talking Spielberg here, we're talking about a clever guy who is capable of making some quite interesting insights in humorous ways. Did you SEE Super Size Me? There was a lot more to it than eating McDonald's for 30 days and watching him throw up. It will be interesting to see how much mileage he can get out of this subject though. Sounds a little odd to me. But I'm sure it will be illuminating. (Reply to this) |
