Zahn & Covert Encounter Some "Strange Wilderness"
by Scott Weinberg | November 03, 2005
Discuss Article
Variety reports on what's sure to be an interesting comedy pairing. Funnymen Steve Zahn and Allen Covert will co-star in "Strange Wilderness" for Fox and Adam Sandler's Happy Madison shingle.

"Project, directed by first-time helmer Fred Wolf, centers on an effort to boost ratings of the ailing "Strange Wilderness" TV show via a pair of animal enthusiasts who head to the Andes in search of Bigfoot. Wolf ("Tommy Boy") and Peter Gaulke ("Black Knight") penned the script, which goes into production next week in Los Angeles."

It is funny enough that they go searching Bigfoot in the Andes. I thought that creature was "sighted" in the USA as the Yeti was in the Himalayas... but in the Andes ?!?! Good luck with the search... :-P

Zahn and Covert can crack me up at times, and the bigfoot thing could be funny or retarded.

And wasnt it revealed a few years back that bigfoot was a hoax all along?

A hoax indeed, this team wouldn't have it any other way! Peter Gaulke is one the most oddly hilarious humans among us. I find it disappointing that he is not starring in the film, which is a spinoff from a gut-busting old Comedy Central skit. (am I right or am I right?) Anyway, Where's the news, where's the website? Give this thing the promo-ganda it deserves!
