Director of "Anger" to Tackle 9/11 Aftermath
Mike Binder, writer/director of the dry comedy "The Uspide of Anger," will write a story about one man's struggle with the loss of his family at the World Trade Center. Oddly, that man will be played by Adam Sandler.
According to Variety, "Writer-director Mike Binder is the latest filmmaker ready to process the tragedy of 9/11, and he's got Don Cheadle and Adam Sandler poised to join him.
That duo is circling "Reign O'er Me," a Binder-scripted drama that Sony Pictures Entertainment is angling to acquire and make next year with a budget under $20 million.
Sandler would play a man who lost his family on Sept. 11 and has never recovered from his grief. He runs into his former college roommate (Cheadle), who has become a doctor and who is determined to help his ex-roomie come to grips with his loss."

Oh gosh I would even perfer Colin Pharrel (But it would make me nautious) Anybody but a washed up SNL comedian, shit they might as well cast Will Farrel. (Reply to this) |

A good move for this project would be if they donated a portion of ticket sales to the memorial/museum they're building on the WTC site. (Reply to this) |
