Ready for a Second Helping of "White Noise"?
by Scott Weinberg | November 18, 2005
Blog Article | Discuss Article
Summary

The Hollywood Reporter indicates that there will soon be another visit from the noise of the white variety. Seems that dead people never know when to shutup already, which is why we'll soon get to see "White Noise 2: The Light." Back to Article

*Shivers*

And they wonder why less and less people are going to the movies each year?

The first was one borderline unwatchable. Count me out here.

Haven't I've seen this before...?
Wait... isn't that the SAME EXACT plot for the Final Destination movies, just with a static-y TV? Jeez...

Yeah, exactly. The first one had an interesting premise and became a hit because of the shrewd marketing. The movie itself is pretty bad.

White Noise was a movie about Micheal Keaton stairing into a computer/tv screen for two hours. Please no more!

I wish they would make a movie adaptation of the Don Delillo novel of the same name. Whenever I saw the name mentioned on here I got excited, then I figured out it was going to be a shitty ghost movie.

Eh....
I thought White Noise was okay. Certainly better than The Grudge or (shudder) Boogeyman. Just thought there were too many funerals in it. Michael Keaton needs to get into some better movies or on a good TV show while he's still relatively young. He's actually a very talented actor, but shit like Herby Fully Loaded doesn't help him much.

Keaton not White Noise
Bring back Keaton and leave White Noise alone. I reluctantly went to the theaters to see it because everyone wanted to see it, because they remembered when Michael Keaton was cool. And the movie sucked ass. I laughed through the whole thing. At least I had fun making fun of it.

Who Cares?
Did enough people actually see "White Noise" to make it worth the studio's while to make a sequel? I unfortunately wasted $8.00 on it, but won't be spending a penny on seeing its sequel.
