sokiveta.com writes: on Nov 28 2005 09:20 AM awww ... SWEET! After the first (bumble bee) teaser trailer, I was worried that Pixar was just slapping together one more quick CGI film to satisfy their contract with Disney. The story line didn't seem like it was as clever as Monsters, Inc., Toy Story, or The Incredibles. But after watching this new trailer, I must say I'm much more excited about this movie. I can't wait to watch it with my son. And, the best thing about this movie, it has the Car Talk guys in it! Ol' Tom and Ray -- Click and Clack the tap it brothers. (Reply to this) |

South_park300 writes: on Nov 28 2005 10:46 AM The teaser really did not do much for me, and I doubt the full trailer will either. But I will see it anyways. Even Finding Nemo teasers and trailers did nothing for me, yet I fell in love with the movie. So hopefully this will mean Cars will be excellent! Pixar just needs to find a better department to make trailers. I'm not worried. (Reply to this) |

bacoby13 writes: on Nov 28 2005 11:42 AM Pixar is using its place in the minds of the common moviegoer (as in, they consistantly make good films) to its advantage, and they're simply saving the best material for the actual film. They did this with Monster's Inc., Finding Nemo, and even The Incredibles...when i first saw the first teaser for this film, i was unimpressed. This new one has made me a little more impressed, but not terribly convinced (Larry the Cable Guy bugs me), but I have no doubt that this will live up to the standards Pixar has set. Their "story first" philosophy is incredibly rare in Hollywood, and its been proven to work time and time again...Keep the advertising the way it, Pixar...I like to leave the best bits unspoiled until i'm safely in a theatre. sokiveta.com writes: on Nov 28 2005 11:53 PM Still a Teaser This is still only a teaster trailer. Now, I agree with bacoby13 as well. And I'm glad Pixar doesn't load their trailers with the best parts; unlike Madagascar which, if you saw the trailer, then you already saw any part worth seeing. (Reply to this) |

Bob* writes: on Dec 02 2005 08:40 AM bleah Looks better than the previous teaser...but it still looks very kiddish. I hope that it doesn't end as another "Bug's life" or "Toy story 2". (Reply to this) |

Infernal writes: on Dec 03 2005 09:14 AM Yes, I'm not very.. Yes, I'm not very happy with the teaser and full trailer. Looks too much like a children's movie. The only animated film series I have fallen in love with is the Shrek series. Great, Shrek is. Cannot wait for the third installment. Yes, anyway, I'm not looking for Cars to be good. Not JUST because of the trailer. They just seem to not have any crude humor in it. Now THAT I like. (Reply to this) |
