The Broadcast Film Critics Association held their annual awards presentation live on The WB network, with plenty of mildly corny jokes, appreciative acceptance speeches, accolades galore, and even a few cool surprises. (Oh, and their favorite film overall was "Brokeback Mountain.")

Special awards were also handed out to those who brought the modern "King Kong" to life and to George Clooney for using his Hollywood power to inform and enlighten people instead of just entertaining 'em. (Clooney also made a funny little joke about Julia Roberts' "twins" that had me chuckling.)

March of the Penguins got best documentary??? what a load of crap, Murderball or Grizzly Man deserved that, but no they gave it to the documentary with the fuzzy animals. Damn you critics...
