"Buffy" Gal to Have a "Black Christmas"
by Scott Weinberg | January 16, 2006
Blog Article | Discuss Article
Summary

The lovely Ms. Michelle Trachtenberg, last seen as an "Ice Princess" and best known for her work on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," has signed to star in Glen Morgan's "Black Christmas," which, as any horror fan could tell you, is a remake of a well-regarded Bob Clark chiller from 1974. Back to Article

The misleading titles seem to be on purpose. It's an RT trademark.

Misleading? MT WAS a "Buffy Gal." Period. I thought it would be more eye-catching than typing her name out. Sorry if you think we're trying to deceive you here, cuz that's just not the case.

Wow. Are you being a bit too critical? The guy was just passing on some movie news. The headline was factual. Get over it. Right now you should probably focus your efforts on getting out of your mother's basement and finding a girlfriend.

Hey Scott, don't get that defensive about my comment. It was just on a half-serious tone (maybe deceiving is too strong a word). It's not the first time I have seen a headline and expected something different. Not 100% oppossite, just a bit different. I thought sometimes you guys did that kind of things on purpose. You know... to keep the surprise factor.

It's cool. And it IS a technique used to get readers interested in a story. ;)

When I saw the headline, I assumed it would be Charisma Carpenter (could play a Margot Kidder type) or Emma Caulfield.

BTW, someone give Emma a good sitcom. Please.

Yea, its a good journalism tool alright. But its not ethical, to mislead readers through the headlines just to spice things up,,,( and to increase traffic)...unless its something like fark.com where u expect things like this. .was hoping for another SMG project. She was always the buffy gal. Would u call anyone else the Alias gal or the 24 guy? I can understand for Lost and Friends though. And u just can't get out of ur mother's house if ur living in South East Asia until your're too old.( compared with america) Blame the government. Pay too low. Living expenses too high. Wouldn't specify which country. Murky treason laws might get me thrown in jail without charge. Read the constitution...its dodgy..and includes something americans would call racial discrimination. ( ya...alright, it may apply then when it was drafted but certainly not now.)_ Gonna get a sponsored migration out of here.
