Eddie Murphy IS "Starship Dave"
Eddie Murphy will star in a new science-fiction comedy called "Starship Dave" from 20th Century Fox and director Peter Segal. No word on whether any of the involved parties have ever seen "The Adventures of Pluto Nash."
According to Variety, ""Starship Dave" is now launching at 20th Century Fox, with Eddie Murphy on board to star and helmer Peter Segal to direct. Project had been at Paramount.
Story is about a crew of miniature human-looking aliens who are seeking a way to save their doomed world."
