The plot details are still under wraps, but we know that Tom Cruise and Ving Rhames are back in action with a supporting cast that includes Laurence Fishburne, Billy Crudup, Simon Pegg, and Jonathan Rhys Meyers, and Philip Seymour Hoffman as the bad guy; Keri Russell, Michelle Monaghan and Maggie Q add estrogen to the adrenaline-pumper.

You can also head over to our trailer page to watch three different trailers, interviews with director J.J. Abrams and Philip Seymour Hoffman, and a behind-the-scenes featurette.

I don't know about anyone else, but with the way he's been force feeding us that Scientology crap, I’m finding it hard to separate Tom Cruise’s personal beliefs from his professional life. Because of that I have absolutely no interest in seeing Mission Impossible III. Like Travolta and Isaac Hayes, Cruise has crossed the line and unless they learn to keep their big mouths shut, they might as well join Michael Jackson in Bahrain because everyone will get sick of them.

Publicity of any kind is always good publicity. Especially for people in the entertainment business. The film will make millions.

see, most people can distinguish an actor's roles and his life. If you cannot that is sad.

That first poster reminds me of the original mission: impossible poster from ' 96

YAY MI3.....
Wow! I can't wait to see this movie!

It may just rival "MI2" and "mission to Mars" as the worst movie ever made...

And it's not every day you get to see history happen!

Cruise pretty much killed himself after the whole jumping on the couch on the Oprah show thing. I don't think people can take him seriously anymore.

True, but I think Cindy's point is that these days it appears that actors like Cruise, Travolta and Hayes either cannot or will not distinguish the difference between their roles as actors and real life. They're using their fame and power to preach Scientology and if you don't believe that Tom Cruise had anything to do with Comedy Centrals last minute decision to not replay the Scientology episode this week, then you are the one who is sad, not Cindy.

I agree with you Dracus, but I think that most people (film geeks like us aside) could care less about Tom Cruise's personal life. As long as the movie is exciting and entertaining, they won't care. The movie will be good, despite what gbwillner says, and it will make boatloads of money.

I'm torn, because Cruise is irritating, but I like most of the other actors, and JJ Abhrams should do a good job. I'll wait for the reviews :-)

I'm also torn, because I've always been a Tom Cruise fan and I for one thought he got an unfair rap for War of the Worlds. I actually thought he handled the role of an estranged father pretty good. I guess like Cindy, I'm pissed over the way he's killing his career with his furniture jumping, psychiatrist criticizing, strong arm Scientology shit. I believe she's right in that regard. He really needs to take something to calm himself down before he joins MJ in Bahrain LOL

Short Divorce? The Guy was married for about 10 years...thats not short for today's day and age. Anyways, if people cannot seperate Tom Cruise from his beliefs thats pretty darn sad. If only we could have that sort of attitude against politicians...
