A Pair of "Grudge 2" Set Visits
IGN FilmForce and JoBlo's have chimed in with their set reports from Sony's upcoming Grudge sequel, and the movie geeks report from Japan that the sequel is coming along swimmingly. (The Grudge 2 was recently moved up a week in the October schedule; it'll now open on 10/13, pre-emptively offering New Line's Jason prequel a run for its box office money.)
IGN FF focuses mainly on a conversation with Grudge 2 starlet Amber Tamblyn, while JoBlo offers a cool collection of flick-related bullet points. Both sites have some on-set pics, too.
The Grudge 2 will the the sixth Grudge entry directed by Takashi Shimizu; the cast for the sequel to the remake includes Amber Tamblyn, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Arielle Kebbel, and Jennifer Beals. Also returning is screenwriter Stephen Susco, the guy who penned the hit remake, as well as Dimension's long-delayed remake of Pulse.

![]() on Apr 07 2006 08:24 AM I think I might be the only person in the world that is actually excited about this movie. I've watched the Japanese version of the Grudge and I think the American one is better. If the same people are doing this one it should be good. (Reply to this) |
