How to Make a Sequel in 3 Months

Hey, guess what they're making a sequel to! Go ahead, guess. OK, I'll tell you: How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. Yep, a sequel, something predictably on par with Legally Blonde 2 and Miss Congeniality 2 ... only we don't yet know if the stars will be returning for H2LaGi10D2.

From The Hollywood Reporter: "Paramount Pictures has tapped scribes Keith Merryman and David A. Newman to pen "How to Lose It All," a sequel to the hit romantic comedy "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days."

The film is being produced by Lynda Obst through her Paramount-based Lynda Obst Prods. banner and Christine Peters through her studio-based CFP Prods.

The original, which starred Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey, became a sleeper hit for Paramount in early 2003, grossing $177 million worldwide."

all that was once good in the world is going to be burned beyond recognition when this movie is released...maybe thats an overreaction but i had to watch this movie 9 times in a row on a airplane (i cant sleep while flying) and i didnt even like it the first time.
(is is just me or was Goldie Hawn a lot hotter at kates age than kate is?)

Who in their right fucking mind would make a sequel to a romantic comedy! I mean really how low can you go. This is incredibly sad and tragic.

No it isn't, her mother Goldie at the same age, makes Kate Hudson look like that ugly woman from "Throw Momma from the Train". So one could only imagine what Kate Hudson will look like in the future.

Unnecessary sequels and remakes continue to prove that complete morons are running Hollywood. I will personally punch anyone who sees this movie in the nose, for validating Hollywood's idiocy.

Dude. When will people realize that making sequels to romantic comedies tend to be a bad idea. Legally Blonde, Miss Congeniality? Fun, fluffy movies. HORRIBLE sequels.

THis movie does not need a sequel

How is it that they keep making movies with Kate Hudson? Besides this movie, she is box office poison. Look at someone equal in talent and appearance, like Anne Heche: she's making Hallmark movies now. Then again, how did Goldie make dozens of movies when only a couple were hits? Good old Hollywood nepotism I guess.

hey I'd do kate hudson anytime anyday, what you fools talking about? I just love it when I hear you dudes bash on some actress/celebrity as being ugly and not good enough, because if any of you can get anyone even half decent to look at I'd be shocked. So keep on bashing, cuz I know your the whimpy skinny dude holding hands with some pale, pimple faced, thick coke bottle glasses, overwieght, Cinnabuns devouring, Warcraft playing nerd chick at the mall!

HAHA!

hey you know what I just realized? I didn't see the original and no one is forcing me to watch this one so who cares?

I am wondering how many of you grieving here will admit they saw this movie in the first place...come on admit it, I want to scold you.

I saw the original, it was awful

what is it about people in the comercials business that makes so many romantic comedies to have their lead man on that profesion? like what women want and that disaster with keanu reeves and charlize theron that I can't remember the title

the thing is that in the end these movies make money, with dvds and tv showings these days

Hey RT, why did you change the title of the article? The old title was better and insulting.
