Malick and Farrell in ... Smell-O-Vision!
by Scott Weinberg | April 14, 2006
Blog Article | Discuss Article
Summary

Get this one: If you buy a ticket to see Terrence Malick's The New World in one Japanese movie theater, you'll be able to enjoy the Colin Farrell epic with the added bonus of ... odors. Yes, that's right, different odors that will waft through the theater at specific points in the movie. How very silly. Back to Article

It was bound to happen since Hollywood has mastered the art of making movies that suck. Now they’ll actually stink.

I can't decide whether this sucks or is the best thing ever. Maybe if it was in America and in a better movie, it would be awesome.

What they need is some type of device in the back of the seats that emits a chemical stimulant to help moviegoers stay awake during this snore fest. As a matter of fact, it should be standard for any Terrence Malik film.

I think if I could get this in Slither, I would love it.
