Summary

A film noir set at a contemporary high school, "Brick" is a strange, tough little movie, a throwback to the days of Sam Spade that utilizes its young actors to startling effect. I know it has something to do with money, but it is a damn shame this movie isn't being shown in more theaters, while crap is.

It really needs to go to some sort of wide release, only 1 theatre is playing it in my state and its pretty damn far.

i watched this movie a week ago in irvine.

it's a fantastic movie...it makes you think. i had trouble though understanding what they say because the dialog is so complicated.

...but yeah. i really hope this gets more of a wide release because it's one of the best indie films i've ever watched.

Absolute brillantly displayed hardboiled dialogue. with a wonderful performance by Joe, as the lone detective. Definitely in my fav. movie collection.
