Sophia Bush to Entice "The Hitcher"
by Scott Weinberg | May 09, 2006
Blog Article | Discuss Article
Summary

Looks like some cast & crew are coming together for Platinum Dunes / Rogue's remake of "The Hitcher," which is a brilliantly nasty cult classic from 1985 that stars C. Thomas Howell as a stupid driver and Rutger Hauer as the hitchhiker from hell. Back to Article

man I don't know about that....from what i've seen of her on one tree hill I'm amazed she hasn't ripped off the head of chad whatever his name is, in the scenes they have together.

Yet another bad idea comes out of the Hollywood Remake Machine.

Well, I loved the remake of When A Stranger Calls and absolutely dreaded the supposedly "classic" original. So, I say, Bring It On.

I have hope for The Hitcher; and whoever was dumb enough to actually spend money to see When a Stranger Calls has no right to make any critical remarks about it. Should've been a movie everyone would've known not to see...PG-13 horror, terrible preview, remake...I'll forgive the 11 year olds who snuck in.
