Larter to Join the "Evil" Brigade
by Scott Weinberg | May 10, 2006
Discuss Article
Seems like every day we get a new casting report from the third "Resident Evil" movie. First we heard that Milla Jovovich and Sienna Guillory were returning, and then came word of Ashanti joining the party. If that's not enough of a hottie ensemble, please welcome Ali Larter to "Resident Evil: Extinction."

From The Hollywood Reporter: "Ali Larter, Ashanti and Chris Egan have joined the cast of "Resident Evil 3" for Screen Gems. The threesome will join "Resident Evil: Apocalypse" returnees Milla Jovovich, Oded Fehr and Mike Epps, who already have boarded the video game-based horror-thriller. Larter will play Claire, a new character to the film franchise who was introduced in the video game "Resident Evil 2." Claire leads a convoy across the Nevada desert. Alice (Jovovich) joins them in their fight for survival as they battle against the evil Umbrella Corp. Ashanti will play Nurse Betty, while Egan will play Mikey. Fehr is back as Carlos, while Epps will reprise his role as L.J. The film starts shooting Monday in Mexico."

---

Ms Larter is no stranger to the horror realm; she previously appeared in "House on Haunted Hill" and "Final Destination."

Oh Scott Weinberg, when is there really "enough" of a hottie ensemble?

I say, find all the hotties, give 'em a gun and a part in this movie! We'll have the best hottie ensemble, ever. And hopefully, after we assemble our hottie ensemble, my wife will still let me see this movie.

oh great, they're bringing more characters from the game into the movie that isn't about any of the games.

i wish an anvil would fall on Paul W.S. Anderson's head, Wile E. Coyote - style.
