Helena Bonham Carter To Frighten Harry Potter in "The Order of the Phoenix"

Some delicious news on the next "Harry Potter" installment, "The Order of the Phoenix": adding another Brit celeb to the cast, Helena Bonham Carter has signed on -- to play one of Lord Voldemort's Death Eaters!

HBC has been cast as the sinister, sadistic (and Voldemort faithful) witch Bellatrix Lestrange in the upcoming pic, slated for release July 2007.

According to Potter lore, Bellatrix is a pure-blood sorceress with links to the Malfoy family, and is a dark-haired, pale beauty with a sadistic side. Sounds perfect for the dark-haired, pale Helena Bonham Carter!

Watch out, Ron...HBC's coming!

Other newcomers to the "Order of the Phoenix" are Imelda Staunton as the toad-like Dolores Umbridge, and George Harris ("Layer Cake") as Kingsley Shacklebolt. Also new to the adolescent magical intrigue will be British director David Yates, whose most recent project was the Emmy-nominated TV movie, "The Girl in the Café."
