Trailer Bulletin: Sarah Michelle Gellar Does "The Return"
by Scott Weinberg | August 21, 2006
Discuss Article
Y'know that movie where Sarah Michelle Gellar deals with creepy otherworldly spookiness? Well here's another one, only this time she has dark hair instead of blonde.

Trailer's right here.

Synopsis: "Joanna Mills is a tough young Midwesterner determined to learn the truth behind the increasingly terrifying supernatural visions that have been haunting her. She has made a successful career for herself, as sales representative for a trucking company; but her private life has been difficult. Estranged from her father, stalked by an obsessed ex-boyfriend, and with few friends in her life, Joanna fears that she is losing control. She sees and feels the brutal murder of a young woman she's never met, at the hands of a heartless killer--a man who appears to be making Joanna his next target. Determined to fight back, Joanna is guided by her nightmares to the murdered woman's hometown. Once there, she will discover that some secrets can't be buried; some spirits never die; and that the murder she is trying to solve may be her own."

Tell the truth: Did you actually read that whole synopsis or did you just skim it?

"The Return" opens on November 10th.

Has the potential to be good but.... probably not. Seriously, why can't anyone just tell a good ghost story any more. It seems like whenever anyone tries anymore they have to force it to be creepy as possible.

It's bad that the whole movie seems like a rip off of the Grudge. Look at the words during the preview and then look at the grudge. Same meaning, different words, dumb movie.... She's hot

This doesn't sound too bad. Or too good. But I'm pretty much a whore who will see anything SMG is in. She's awesome.

Too bad about Freddie Prinze though. She could have done better marrying a cabbage.

I always love Sarah's movies, and I will definitely go see this one the first Saturday night this one is released. The trailer looks scary. Sarah is great. I am off to see Grudge 2 Saturday night at 10 pm. Too bad she is going to die, but Amber will carry on, I hope!? Looks mucho scary too. Sarah Michelle Rules!!!!!

SARAH the new scream queen
so what if sarah has done another horror film, she is good in this genre as well any other. it was just like jamie lee curtis when she first began. i mean come on how many horror films did she do which were nearly all the same.
sarah might not be just starting out but in terms of films she hasn't really done that much in her career of late although she has about 6 movies coming out in the next year or so
so stop hating on her
