Matt Damon! Julia Stiles! "Bourne Ultimatum" Set Pics!
by RT Staff | October 10, 2006

The first set pics from "The Bourne Ultimatum" are online at Reel Movie News (via Comingsoon.net). See! Matt Damon on a scooter! Thrill! As Julia Stiles walks down the street!

"The Bourne Ultimatum," helmed by Paul Greengrass ("United 93"), also stars Joan Allen, David Strathairn (and, rumor has it, Gael Garcia Bernal as a bad guy). The third in the "Bourne" series, it is scheduled for a 2007 release.

I am a fan of the Bourne series, but I was disappointed in the fight scenes in Bourne Supremacy. The whole shakey camera technique to make the viewer feel like they are there is dumb. We want to see choreography damnit!
However the movie was good.

I am sure this one will be great as well, just need to make more hand to hand combat scenes.

I am also a fan of the Bourne series, i was overall just slightly disappointed with The Bourne Supremacy compared to the Bourne Identity, not to say it wasnt a good movie I just felt i was always in the car or going to a different location, great movie nonetheless and looking foward to the third one they have been enjoyable movies so far.

I agree, it seemed to me that something was missing from Supremacy in comparison to Identity, so I didn't really connect with it like I did with Identity. Hopefully the upcoming film will be an improvement upon the second installment, depsite the face that Supremacy was still a good film.

i really like this series of movies. I think this is one of the few times were the movie is actually better than the books, which were ok, at best. The Bourne Ultimatum might as well have been the Bourne Desperation.

Bourne Supremacy kicked the ass of Identity.

i actually liked the shakey camera, and enjoyed "supremacy" better than "identity." i'm really looking forward to this one!

i enjoyed both and thin kDamon really shows his worth in this franchise.
I think they killed Marie off to show that he was never going to be left alone and would always be hunted - woudlnt have had the same efect if they killed his pet or something!
think Karl Urban should have got more credit for his bad guy turn in supremacy - really gave a good fight to Damon.

The only problem I have with killing marie, is that in the books she is alive and well.

well, one of the follow up books - the bourne legacy - was freaking lame and wasnt even written by ludlum. and killing off marie was a slick move i thought - how many main characters are killed off in movies right at the start? it let you know that you didnt know what to expect from the film. i think the next movie will be great. damon surprisingly kicks ass.

Good to see Julia Stiles return, but her character's importance was a little stretched already in Supremacy. What could possibly be the point of her appearance in Ultimatum. (BTW: I've never read the books)

Supremacy, in any category, will take out Identity. Action, music, plot, story, direction.
