Meet Shrek 3's New Princess Squad
When "Shrek the Third" arrives next May, he'll be bringing bck a lot of old friends -- and a quartet of reluctantly heroic princesses who own some very amusing voices. USA Today gives us the low-down on the new gals, plus a few new nuggets of plot synopsis.
From USA Today: "Some of TV's funniest ladies, including Saturday Night Live cast members past and present, speak for the princesses.
"Amy Poehler is Snow White, the alpha dog of the group," Miller says. "She's a real pit bull." Maya Rudolph lends what the director calls "her quiet coolness" to Rapunzel. Cheri Oteri is Sleeping Beauty, "a narcoleptic princess." And Amy Sedaris (Strangers With Candy) steps into the shoes of Cinderella, an obsessive-compulsive cleaner who can throw a mean high-heeled pump if need be."

on Oct 24 2006 09:26 PM it's odd how many haters this movie gets on here, yet this series is one of the biggest money makers of all time. money doesn't always equal greatness, but when a movie gets these kinds of numbers, both in theater and dvd, they must be doing SOMETHING right eh? can't wait for this movie! on Oct 25 2006 12:37 AM I like the idea Shrek movies are cartoons for adults. The majority of its theme is about bitch slapping Disney formula cartoons (Reply to this) |

on Oct 25 2006 12:39 PM shrek's numbers popularity does not mean the movie is good. there are tons of bad movies that make money. people just go to the movie to have something to do over the weekends. they usually do not look at reviews before they go to the theater. (Reply to this) |

![]() on Oct 25 2006 04:16 PM i liked shrek, it was a pretty good computer animated movie if you ask me, i didn't like shreak 2, i guess it was just to much of a sequel, and i don't really see the point of this movie.........dreamworks should come up with something new and original. maybe that's why i liked the first shrek movie so much it was something new and original back than.
