"Kung Fu: The Movie" (Finally) Looks to be Moving Forward
Remember that cool old TV show called "Kung Fu"? Nah, you're probably too young, but hey, there's a movie version on the way, and it'll be directed by The Hughes Brothers.
From Variety: "Directors Allen and Albert Hughes will square off in "Kung Fu," the bigscreen adaptation of the 1970s classic TV series for Warner Bros.-based Legendary Pictures.

The Hughes brothers, who blazed onto the scene with "Menace II Society," haven't helmed a feature since the 2002 Johnny Depp drama "From Hell.""

on Nov 02 2006 07:08 PM Doesn't strike me as a good idea. Leave Kung Fu for the Chinese filmakers, who definetly have an inside edge for interpreting martial arts to film art (Reply to this) |
