George Miller Discusses the Future of "Mad Max"
Mel Gibson recently stated that he wouldn't be returning for any more "Lethal Weapon" or "Mad Max" sequels, but director George Miller seems somewhat confident that Max's fourth adventure could still become a reality.
From Dark Horizons: "Talking with In Focus Mag, director George Miller confirmed that once he's finished with a small film he's got to do - "Max" will get underway.
""Mad Max 4" is so prepared, there seems to be a lot of momentum for it to get done... In what form and so on, I don't know. But it hasn't gotten stale in the meantime, and I'm very very keen to do it. It seems like there's the appetite out there... That's about all I can say at the moment"."

I'd love to see David Fincher take on directing the disgruntled Aussie killing machine. Max really is one of the great reluctant hero's. I can imagine few men capable of filling his shoes but a-la Superman Returns just get an unknown that looks like Mel. I'm sure there's one out there. Just don't call it Mad Max 4. (Reply to this) |

sistrunk writes: on Nov 04 2006 05:58 AM road warrior If he makes another I want it to be the same tone as road warrior. Thunderdome was just too soft and sentimental for me; we need a brutal, hard mad max like he was in road warrior. (Reply to this) |
