Clive Owen Expresses Confusion Over "Sin City" Sequel
Clive Owen's got one heckuva good movie coming out next month (Alfonso Cuaron's "Children of Men"), but in a recent interview the actor was asked about the status of the "Sin City" sequel ... and he expressed much confusion over the project.
From MoviesOnline.ca: "We recently sat down and interviewed Clive Owen about his upcoming film "Children of Men" and he spent some time talking about "Sin City 2." When asked if he was excited to be playing Dwight again in "Sin City 2" he was pretty much confused about the whole thing.
"I honestly don’t know what’s happening there because everybody’s talked about it. It’s been announced a few times that it’s happening but I have no idea what’s happening there. I mean I don’t know when they’re going to do it or who’s doing it. I have no idea."

on Nov 21 2006 10:53 AM But this movie isn't going to be a prequel. My understanding is that it won't be based on any of the existing Sin City books, but rather a new one that Miller is currently working on. (Reply to this) |

on Nov 21 2006 11:49 AM It's going to be based on "A Dame To Kill For", a new work by Frank Miller about Nancy seeking revenge, and possibly another short story with the possibility of being about Blue Eyes. So being that "A Dame To Kill For" is a prequel to "The Big Fat Kill" it will mean that Clive Owen will only have a small cameo at the end unless they do some amazing prosthetic work on him. That also means Mickey Rourke will be back too :) (Reply to this) |
