I'll probably see it during the holidays with family. It looks to be in the same class as a lot of other PG-sports movies, but with a nostalgic kick. Everyone can go to it. And it looks much, much better than Rocky V.

P.S. Those who are interested in this movie should check out Premiere's latest issue. It has a great article about Stallone and the film.

i am very much looking forward to this... the Rocky series is pretty good, each film is pretty faithful to boxing history in its own way... even Rocky 4 was a good prediction as to the "rise" of the 7 foot Russian champ boxers and a small comment on drugs in sports.... i'm gonna be first in line.

It's definetely my comfort film. I've watched it ,like, 85 times, and everytime i got into THAT finale (when Apollo wins and yet we just focus on Rocky yelling 'ADRIAAAAAAN !') i can never hold my tears.

If Rocky Balboa can even reach 0.001% of Rocky 1 impact, i'd still be very happy

Like most I've been skeptical since the beginning, but with that said, I can't help but get excited for this. I live on the outskirts of Philly, and you'd be surprised by how many people are starting to come around to the idea that this one could be good....like myself.

On 2 polls that I have seen and taken, this is the number one movie people are looking forward to this December. I agree with them. Other than Apocalypto, this is the only other movie I really care to see this holiday season. Well, maybe Casino Royale a few more times.

I think the irony of Antonio Tarver being "the champ" in this movie after being so completely thrashed by Bernard Hopkins is delicious. I especially enjoyed Stallone being there and kissing Tarver's ass in the pre-fight interview. Shoulda gone with an actual actor you fool. How the hell is this guy believable as HW Champ after being taken apart by a 40 year old natural middle-weight? In a completely one sided ass whuppin? I realize of course that it's a movie after all, but it kills the set-up for me. Might as well have brought Ali in. That mofo probably still has more charisma than this idiot.

Thats the only way I can see Rocky winning the Match. Having more Heart. Because, he's facing somebody who is in shape and is still boxing. Just thinking about it logical like that Rocky should lose. But Since Rocky has alot of Heart. And I bet he'll put it all in the fight. That is the only possible way he can win.

This could be a good Rocky movie.

this movie sounds silly so i will have to wait till DVD just to see how retarded it is...........i thought rocky 1 and 2 were actually pretty good movies but 3,4,and 5 were horrible.....infact i think i only saw rocky 5 once and i hated it so much i never saw it again but i will probably rent the trilogy and then go see this one in the theaters, so yeah actually cross out what i said up there about DVD, i mine as well just go see it in the theaters.
