Trailer Bulletin: Jamie Foxx & Jennifer Garner in "The Kingdom"
by Scott Weinberg | December 26, 2006
Discuss Article
Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Garner, Chris Cooper, Jason Bateman and Jeremy Piven star in "The Kingdom," a terrorism-focused action thriller from the director of "The Rundown" and "Friday Night Lights." The movie doesn't open until April 20th, but there's a brand-new trailer worth checking out.

Synopsis: "A team of U.S. counter-terrorism investigators set out to find the perpetrators behind a deadly attack on Americans in a Middle Eastern country. In order to work through the bureaucracy and cultural hostility, the team enlists a local police officer, but still find itself target for the terrorists."

Check out the trailer at Yahoo! Movies.

This movie already came out two years ago but it was a lot funnier when it was called Team America: World Police.

Peter Berg continues to wage his war against the steadicam! Nice, only the billionth trailer this year to use Harry Gregson Williams' score from Spygame.

I like the cast. I am always a fan of actors trying different things. Jason Bateman....we shall see. Foxx and Cooper are always good though. Could suck....but still looks like it has some potential.

Team America: World Police? If we're gonna put down the movie at least we can get some relevant putdowns.

I think it looks pretty good. I'm a fan of Foxx and Garner and the trailer was good. And the whole shaky camera thing is way oversensationalized. People talk like it's the antichrist.

I saw the trailer and thought "If its lucky it will get a netflix out of me."

Then I see "JASON BATEMAN" on the screen, and everything changed.
