Jamie Foxx Will Not Play "The Dark Knight's" Two-Face
Does it still count as a rumor if you only read about it AFTER the rumor has been proven false? I mean, I just read an article stating that Jamie Foxx will NOT be playing Harvey Dent (aka Two-Face) in Christopher Nolan's upcoming "Batman Begins" sequel ... but I never knew he was even up for the part!
A few days back the widely-accepted conjecture was that Aaron Eckhart was the Harvey Dent front-runner, but IGN Movies has just chimed in with the Jamie Foxx story. Apparently Mr. Foxx was rumored to be in contention, but that's not even remotely the case anymore. "No truth to it whatsoever" says Mr. Foxx's publicist. So I guess we can open and close that story in one swoop.
In related news, neither Barbra Streisand nor Fred Savage will be appearing in "The Dark Knight." I don't know this for a fact, but it seems a safe enough bet.

on Feb 08 2007 07:04 AM In reply to this comment (#855058) Holy Steaming Turd, Batman! I was hoping Barry Gibb would be Robin. Seriously, I can't imagine in this day and age, people still want to see a Robin connected to this new mythos. Just because Robin has been around since the 40's doesn't mean he fits in todays vision. Robin completely contradicts everything Batman stands for. If they bring this shit in, I'm out. (Reply to this) |

on Feb 08 2007 08:42 AM In reply to this comment (#855060) i agree. Robin sucks. If they have him, he should be killed in the first 10 minutes... no wait, then we'd have to deal with Robin for 10 minutes. Yes, no Robin ever. (Reply to this) |

on Feb 08 2007 09:55 AM Hell yeah, I'm glad he has no chance. Out of all the names I've heard mentioned Foxx is who I wanted to get it the least. (Reply to this) |

on Feb 08 2007 10:51 AM Guy Pearce for me would be great. Sam Rockwell would also be interesting. I just hope that when he does in fact "become" Two-Face, we aren't dealing with a face that's green or purple. And no suits that are black and white, split down the middle. The logic behind that alone would hurt my head. (Reply to this) |

on Feb 08 2007 11:15 AM Easiest way to do Two-Face's costume: 1 suit, the guy got knife happy on half of it. THANK GOD JAMIE FOX ISN'T PLAYING DENT!!!!! (Reply to this) |

on Feb 08 2007 01:49 PM In reply to this comment (#855066) The reason why the suit was black and white was supposed to respresent Harvey's Aura. The black side is supposed to represent his Dark side and the white his Light. And no this isn't a racist thing. The darker the auroa the darker the person. The lighter the more positive the person. At least that is the idea behind dent. Don't forget he had a split personality and when the acid burned him it leaked out and took over. (Reply to this) |

on Feb 08 2007 02:14 PM Harvey Dent is not black, so why was Foxx even considered? (Reply to this) |

on Feb 08 2007 02:30 PM Dark Side White Side I just thought of an awesome idea for two face. He shouldn't be scarred at all. He'll just have two personalities. One personality will be a nerdy, white, Bill Gates-like personality and the other will be a gangsta, Lil Jon personality. What do y'all think? (Reply to this) |

on Feb 08 2007 03:56 PM In reply to this comment (#855072) It would've made sense if.......if......Joel Schulmaker was still directing or if there was a Spoof on Super Hero flicks. Not a stupid idea.............. (Reply to this) |

![]() on Feb 11 2007 08:07 PM How does it matter at all if Dent is black or white? Just because Bale is Welsh doesn't make the character Welsh (though he was mainly raised in England anyways). He used an american accent. I don't think of Wolverine as being turned into Australian for the X-men movies because Jackman is playing him. Jackmen changed his accent. (Reply to this) |
