Nifty New Designs on Venom, Goblin and Dr. Doom

If you love superhero movies then I bet you love the supervillains. And if you love those guys you'll probably get a kick out of some production artwork on two "Spider-Man 3" baddies -- plus a pretty promising touch-up for the "Fantastic Four" for: Dr. Doom.

JoBlo's Movie Emporium is where you can find the villainous artwork. Venom and Green Goblin "Redux" look suitably slick and intimidating, but it's the improvements in Dr. Doom that have me most impressed. (Admit it; the guy looked a little silly in Part 1, a glitch that looks to be getting smoothed out for "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer.") The voice of Julian McMahon is supposed to be returning for the sequel, but let's face it: We're seeing this flick for Silver Surfer, not Doc freakin' Doom.

Anyway, yeah. Marvel movies rock. Even when they're not good movies, they still give us lots to talk about.

Don't really like the Goblin Snow Boarder. The others are pretty sweet.

Doom looks awesome but i still have my doubts about the FF sequel. It can be really wicked or really lame, we'll just have to see. I'm confident in Spidey though, venom looks great.

Yea, personally I think they should've used the Hobgoblin costume instead.
At least Doom is looking really good (reminds me of his 2099 comic).

Venom looks freakin' sick. I love the changes they made to the costume for the film. Less slobber, more webbing on the costume. It seems only appropriate that Venom would try to emulate Spiderman as much as possible. A subtle but awesome change if you ask me.

Goblin Looks Like
A GI Joe Sigma Force figure called "White Wash" or "Avalanche" or some such crap. Why do they keep screwing up the Osbournes so badly in these flicks?

Yeah, they dropped the ball on the Green Goblin, and now GG2. I'm not sure why they are doing that. Maybe it's just really tough to make a Goblin costume?

I think the goblin costume fits the character. So did the first one. This goblin is more intent on taking out spiderman and not worried about designing his suit as much. The first goblin was an ego-maniac who needed a flashy, if impractical, suit. Raimi knows what he's doing. If I was able to look past the silliness of the first suit, I can assume it'll be the same here.
Venom looks really sick, extremely awesome job they did with that design. I'd like to see the size of him up against spidey tho, thats the make or break. The action figure made him look tiny, but this redeems it a little bit.
Dr. Doom I never really cared for, but he is definetly better for this one. I'm convinced that the makers of FF2 took the criticism they got for the first one and are making a superior sequel. At least I hope so.

God, Goblin looks terrble. They should put "To the X-Treme!"on his chest and just call it a day. Am I the only one who would of bought a psychopath wearing a rubber mask, decked out with all the hardware?

You know, like how it was originally written?

Yeah, Goblin looks goofy as all hell. How did they manage to drop the bomb on that one so badly? I hope, at least, someone (or the film) will explain as to why they went that way w/ the costume. The designers coulda' just checked out a toystore for a better design:

They still can't get the Goblin costume right, I don't know why they have issues with doing the old school costume like in the comics, Venom looks sweet though!

I wish people would realise hobgoblin and green goblin are two completely different people.

The Hobgoblin has actually been multiple people, none of which have been the osbournes.

venom looks exactly as he should. if this is how he really looks in the movie, they did it right. white spider is one thing i was worried about.
