Travolta Wants to Pick His "Dallas" Wife
by Fred Topel | February 12, 2007
Blog Article | Discuss Article
While the "Dallas" movie continues to undergo script rewrites and casting switcheroos, John Travolta is still in place as J.R. Ewing. When asked for his ideas for a new Sue Ellen, Travolta kept it personal.

"I'd choose my wife," he said. "[That's my] personal choice. That's my choice."

Travolta may be taking all things "Dallas" in stride, having been attached to the project back in the Robert Luketic/J-Lo days. He's ready to go, and already reaping the rewards. (Gurinder Chadha is presently in that director's chair.)

"Dallas is starting whenever they say it is. I've already started to be paid on it. I just haven't had a start date."

I think the window of time where anyone would have cared about a "Dallas" movie has passed.

I'm having trouble remembering when Travolta made a good film.... isn't he still talking about Battlefield Earth 2? *shudders*
