Nasty New "Grindhouse" Trailer!

We've seen all sorts of promo clips and one pretty slick trailer, but now comes a king-sized two-headed "Grindhouse" trailer that tells you pretty much all you need to know about this movie. After you see this promo, you'll know if you're in or if you're out.

Click here for a really meaty new "Grindhouse" trailer, which (as you're no doubt aware by now) is directed by the certifiably insane Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino. Some of the material is recycled from the first trailer, but there's still enough here to warrant another eye-popping visit. (Needless to say: I cannot wait to see this movie.)

April 6, movie geeks. April 6th.

Hurry up April! From the previews I'd say Planet Terror looks like the better movie of the two, but Kurt Russell in a Tarantino movie is just awesome.

I think Planet Terror is going to be a lot better then Death Proof, but regardless this is going to be so much fun. I can not wait for this!

Wow!!!

I really can't wait for this film to come out now. That trailer was amazing!!

But I'm still unsure on whether to decide which film is better. Death Proof looks pretty good as well.

Especiall when Kurt Russell says "Baby, This Car is 100% Death Proof, but to really get the feeling you need to be in my seat!" Then he slams on the gas. God did I just laugh my ass off.

Now I finally get what "Death Proof" means. Its all making sense now. And I'm couting the days.

And I thought the last trailer was awesome/clever. I still like the begining of the first trailer where it lists all the film credits of RR & QT (if nothing else it might help get more butts in th seats - and its done in a fitting, campy-fun style) but this one gives a much better sense of the films, not to mention the first trailer made "Planet Terror" look pretty dumb. Machine gun leg is cool as a gag, but that trailer made it look like the was the whole movie. This trailer does make that look better than the Kurt Russel starer, though QT can probably direct the hell out of a car chase/crash pic like "Death Proof." Not to be redundant, but Can't Wait!

I think Death Proof looks much cooler, although the entire project looks to be tailor made for my taste in film. But seeing Kurt Russell in full on John Carpenter glory days mode will ba awesome.

I actually think that Death Proof looks much better, although this entire project seems virtually tailor made for my particular taste in cinema. Seeing Kurt Russell in full on John Carpenter glory days badass mode will be a real treat for me though.

I have to agree - I saw the trailer and it has the "B" movie look. It looks crazy for crazy sake. I have liked their previous movies so I am not writing this movie off. But a machine gun mounted on a woman's severed leg? Reminds me of Ash from Army of Darkness...

I just wish big stars like Bruce Willis and Kurt Russell weren't in it. Too further the "B" movie feel, Tarantino and Rodriguez should have cast those roles with actors who usually end up in "B" schlock -- like Michael Ironside. The two directors and the concept should have been enough to sell it without those big names.

I'm actually looking forward to Death Proof more than Planet Terror. Kurt Russell seems like he's stealing the show of both movies put together. That line is already a classic in my book "This car is 100% death proof..." Hilarious.
